For Counselors, Teachers, School Psychologists, and any school personnel working with students with ASD.

This training will provide participants with an understanding of the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and how they can be used to address difficulties associated with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Participants will learn the behavioral characteristics of autism, etiology, treatment myths, and research based information. Additional content includes the assessment of behavior, appropriate data collection methods, and effective ABA teaching strategies to address the unique learning needs and challenging behaviors associated with ASD. This is a beginning level workshop.
